WWII Canadian Naval Tote
WWII Canadian Naval Tote
It’s not every day that a beautiful blue bag comes my way. This one is especially unique as it is the classic duffle bag during WWII for the Canadian Navy. The original rope at the top can cinch the bag closed & is finished off with hand sewn red leather tips. Two sturdy navy leather pockets have been added to the front to store your essentials & there is an additional canvas pocket on the back. A knotted fob decorates the front & can be removed to use for your keys. The bag is fully lined in our favorite ticking stripe & has 3 pockets for even more storage. The straps have been hand cut, braided & burnished to create a soft, comfortable fit on your shoulder. Each one of these historical canvas pieces carries a bit of my heart.
