1944 Hernasy Cross Body Bags
1944 Hernasy Cross Body Bags
These unique one of a kind bags are finished off with just so many special details. Sometimes the bags may ne small but they require as much work & detail as the bigger guys. These have such a special history that we researched. Nathan Hernasy was only one of 5 people from the Cherokee Nation that have ever been part of the coast guard. He bravely served during WWII & the original duffle has “1944” stamped inside the bag that we used as a back pocket on the chocolate version. There are hand stitched repairs on all the little (& bigger) holes. A leather patch with the history details of the bag has been hand sewn to each bag. Theres a roomy back pocket for stashing your phone & 2 more additional pockets inside. The cross body strap can be removed so it can be a sweet little totebag. The bag fully zips closed & is lined in our favorite ticking fabric.
