The fabric from these bags is a collectors item + was used to filter sake. The brown color derives from the tannin of the persimmon. All the bags have a different shade of brown depending on the natural dye. A vintage Japanese indigo patch has been hand sewn to the front using a traditional sashiko stitch. The back is our soft Napa leather with a roomy pocket added to stash your phone.
