It is quite apparent that all dalhias are not created equal. In our side garden they are currently on steroids & range from a very manageable size to extremely large. The biggest ones deserve a vase of their own. I made a quick mock up of a fabric print & decided to put them on my grandmother. I think she would have loved those pants! She was the epitome of fun & cheerfulness!
Sunday was Fathers Day. We happen to be out of the country on vacation & didn’t have enough forsight to plan a proper gift this year for my husband. My youngest son came to the rescue when he ran in first thing in the morning with a very tropical bracelet & necklace for his dad. needless to say, he showed up his older brother who proceeded to run out to the beach & draw a fathers day card in the sand…..wish I had a picture of that too.
