In advance, I’d love to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving! Oh, those of you who celebrate it of course. This week the blog posts may be a bit spotty as I am currently residing on a beach at the edge of a jungle in Costa Rica. My kids have a whole week off school & we headed to a place we consider a home away from home. A whole week of relaxing, swimming, walking on the beach & reading good books. Of course, the thought of this little get-away did make me sweat a bit as I’m participating in a really cool, fantastic Holiday craft market (see detail in side bar for Firefly Holiday Market) shortly upon my return. I always say,” You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to create handmade goods but you do need a lot of TIME.” Skipping out for over a week of studio time does make me a bit nervous but then again, I have to keep reminding myself to just LIGHTEN UP!” OK- All done! here are some pics of our first day……
Needless to say, this week will not be a tutorial on how to make a really great turkey or how to make your table look over the top impressive. There may be pictures of cold beer on the beach though… Pura Vida!!
